Happy Roses

After a nice hard rain, my roses shot up and have several buds. My wisteria is also doing very well.

Happy Hyacinths

The white Hyacinth came up first. The purple followed, and I think the next one to bloom will be a tulip.

This was a whoopsie. Apparently, I planted them closer together than I thought. I'm a little wary to try and move them though...what do y'all think? Should I replant them now, or wait?

I didn't have any specific expectations for this flower, but the color is even more beautiful than I thought it would be. <3

Pretty sure this is one of the Star Lillies. :D

They're Alive!! :D

Guys, look!!! They're already coming up!! :D

I don't know which ones they are, but I don't care! I'm just glad they're growing. :D
But there are only two...I'm a little worried that maybe the dirt isn't draining as well as it should be. We've been getting a lot of rain, and the dirt looks thicker on the sides of the box than in the middle. Any gardeners out there with ideas? How are these looking to y'all? :D

A Small Change

Hello everyone! I've decided to do a small change. This will no longer be just a photography blog. I will be posting random moments from my life whenever it strikes my fancy. So, here is the first 'Random Life Update' post.

I've started a flower garden!!

Before.
This was originally a vegetable garden. But my mama decided she didn't want to do it this year,  so she gave the space to me

After
All cleaned up! :D

These are the rose bushes I decided to plant. Very excited!!

They're hard to see, but they're there. :)
Another section that needs to be cleaned and prepared.
Fortunately, we've had a lot of rain lately so the ground was soft.

Tada! I had to tear up the ground with a pickaxe and a few other tools because our tiller wasn't working. My hands are sore, but I'm glad I did it! I'm really enjoying this garden. <3

Ready for flowers bulbs! The pictures below are the flowers I chose. I'm really excited about the Gladiolus! They look gorgeous!!

I tried to choose flowers that will bloom and flourish without too much effort on my part, because I tend to get lazy :P. Which one's do y'all prefer? I still have room in that flower bed, so what else should I plant? Let me know what y'all think!
