Blue
We have five cats, but this one is my Daddy's favorite, so she gets a post all to herself. Her name is Blue, and her nicknames are Boo and Boo-Berry. =)
(Also, I got a new lens. A 50mm 1.8. That's what I used to take these pictures, and I'm very pleased. If I had used my kit lens, then the up-close pictures of her eyes would not be as sharp as they are.)

Playing With the Macro Lens
I took the macro lens off of the camera, hoping that by holding it and adjusting it manually I would be able to get closer to my subject. Well, that didn't work. It still focused on my subject just as closely in my hand as it did on the camera. But I still thought these were cool, and will probably do more pictures this way in the future. =)
