I took the macro lens off of the camera, hoping that by holding it and adjusting it manually I would be able to get closer to my subject. Well, that didn't work. It still focused on my subject just as closely in my hand as it did on the camera. But I still thought these were cool, and will probably do more pictures this way in the future. =)

I took over 400 pictures while on our trip to our grandparent's house, so I'm going to have to edit and post in several parts. There will, LORD willing, be pictures of animals, a train, and a walkway to a river. So, here's part one, just to get you started. =)

The only difference between this one and the one at the top is the coloring. I think I like the top one better, but this one has a softness to it that I like.
